The Four Agreements
Central to how we bind ourselves together, and how we prepare to meet the loftiest expectations, are these four principals.

#2. We DO NOT EVER take things PERSONALLY.
a. Nothing – not a single thing – anyone ELSE does is because of you.
b. What others do is simply a projection of their reality – their hopes, dreams, challenges, issues, and circumstances.
c. When we work hard to be immune to the actions, opinions, and projections of others, we will avoid unnecessary stress, heart-ache, needless suffering, and wasted energy.
#3. We DO NOT make ASSUMPTIONS. (They make an ASS out of U and ME.)
a. We work hard to communicate with others are clearly, concisely, and accurately as possible to avoid confusion, misunderstanding, and drama.
b. Let’s have the fortitude to ask uncomfortable questions to really express what we want, what we need, and what we must uncover to make our jobs and day-to-day easier.
c. Mastering this 1 simple agreement will transform your ability and capacity to execute. There are signals, and there are noises, let’s agree to focus only on the signals
#4. We ALWAYS do our BEST.
a. Let’s agree and understand that “our best” is dynamic … and will change from moment to moment, but under any circumstance, we agree to do the BEST we can. Your best will be better on days that you are well (as opposed to sick) or on days that you’re energetic and excited (as opposed to exhausted and lethargic), but we will all strive to give our best when acting.
b. This will allow us to avoid self-judgement, neglect of our own feeling, and will ensure that we don’t have regrets based on our own actions.
